| Irene Hobson Klein March 15, 1919 ~ March 14, 2013 Irene Hobson Klein "We'll Miss You" RIVERDALE - Irene was born March 15, 1919 in Bankstown, Australia, the youngest of six with three brothers and two sisters. She passed away March 14, 2013 of natural causes. She married Albert L. Klein (deceased) March 8, 1941 and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple September 2, 1949. Her family immigrated to America in 1949 and was an active member in Lakeview and Riverdale 1st Ward. She served in the Ogden Temple for 13 years making many friends. She and her husband went on a mission back to Australia in 1983. She is survived by two children: Howard (Susan) Klein and Anthea (Merrill) Beck, 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Irene enjoyed eating out with friends, her pets, traveling and shopping. She was a wonderful seamstress making many wedding dresses. Special thanks to Legacy Village of Layton and Vista Care. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Roy City Cemetery, 5200 South 2300 West. A viewing will be held Friday, March 23rd at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. obitsutah.com |
